Could I have been poisoned by a fumigation?

This is kind of a weird question, but I was renting an apartment in Buenos Aires Argentina for the last 5 months, and exterminators came twice to spray the whole building.

On both occasions, a man entered with a gas mask and a big spray tank which he used to spray the drains, and I noticed the second time he applied some sort of gel to the cabinets.

The first time he woke me up, I opened the door, he didn't say anything came in and sprayed. The second time, I asked him, worried that this man is in what looked like a hazmat suit, if it was okay for me to stay in the apartment. He said yes. OK so I didn't think about it. I also asked him what he was spraying for and he said roaches, which I had seen quite a few of over the last few months (mostly American, some German).

I'm asking because I am having some very odd health issues over the last two weeks (nerve pain and fatigue) and I am googling myself into a frenzy worrying what this could be. Every paranoia I mention to my mother (who is a nurse practitioner), she tells me not to worry. However, I mentioned that they sprayed while I was in the apartment and she said "oh yeah that could be it if your symptoms began after that" so now I am going absolutely batshit paranoid at the fact that I was maybe poisoned.

So I'm asking the pros that work with this stuff, could I have been poisoned by roach fumigation?
