House Poor ! What do I do ?

Hi , I am a fairly well earning 45 Year old man. I am the true definition of house poor ! So I bought an apartment in 2016 from the sale of an ancestral property. Wife, kids and me stay in the apartment . In 2019 , I started a house construction on a site that my dad bought from the same sale of ancestral property. Unfortunately during Covid, had to stop construction and the costs increased and hence had to take a huge loan to complete the house. My parents stay in this large house and my wife is refusing to move into the house as there are major differences. My parents are refusing to move to a smaller apartment so that I can give the house on rent. So now, 70% of my take home is going towards the EMI and I am not left with anything to lead a good life. What do I do ?
