Smartest way to move my money from USD (Wells Fargo) to EUR (bank in Finland)
Please direct me to a more fitting subreddit if applicable, wasn’t sure where to ask.

Basically: I’m American and moved to Finland and want to move my USD to EUR so I can use it to buy a house. I assume it’s necessary and safer to first open a Finnish bank account and transfer the funds there to pay for said house.
So: I was thinking the best way would be to transfer the money via Wise, BUT some sources say that my current bank, Wells Fargo, has a $5000 daily international wire limit or so, others say the daily limit is $50000, but Wise’s is unlimited. So whose limit matters in this case? I’d want to move my money in as few chunks as possible to have the least amount of fees. But also I worry about transferring it all in one go and then something wrong happens in the process and my money is lost. What are the safeguards I can take against that? Advice?
