moving states, 10k savings, help plz

i live in east tennessee and looking at moving out. i have 10k in my savings and can afford rent for a few months before needing a job, but don't most jobs require you to live in the city before they even look at you? it's the paradox of needing a job to move but needing a place to live for a factory job (I just wanna do factory jobs)
