Upgrading CPU

Hi guys! Currently looking to upgrade my CPU as it bottlenecks my gameplay most of the time.

CPU: I5 12600kf GPU: 3060 ti Motherboard: Prime b660 plus-d4

Not too sure how to choose a new one, except by looking at my compatibility list. Any advice or suggestions?
