Canadian Tire center bag sizes

Going to see sum 41 soon, learned the bag size limit is restricted to 4" x 6" x 1.5". How strict are they for concerts? I want to bring a portable charging brick, cable, wallet, earplugs. My bag is thicker than 1.5" by a bit. Do I just wear a sweater with big pockets? Also, it's cold outside. Is there a coat check? Or should I just wear a light sweater. Never been to the venue before but I'd appreciate the tips
