Can OnePlus make a comeback this year?

As a OnePlus fan, I felt sad about the OnePlus sale going down after the Oppo merger. Good old days when Oxygen OS was used to compete with One UI and Apple users appreciated Oxygen OS optimization and fluidity. I just want old OnePlus back
