Update on OnePlus TV

I received update on OnePlus TV after a very long time. I'm scared to update it because oneplus is known to brick devices intentionally or accidentally with such updates If anyone owns OnePlus TV and received this update, how's it working? And should I be safe to update it? TV is 4 yrs old and it's extended warranty has also ended
