It annoys me how hypersexual society has gotten
I turn on any social media and people turn everything into sex. They dance like animals in heat and it’s just annoying to see all the time.
Then,
I look for tights, and the model has his actual genitals showing though the fabric. So, No I’m not going to buy those. I legit had to take a break from dating because the guys would mention sex within the first 5 minutes of conversation. So then I talked to an old friend about regular things, and he started bringing sex jokes out of nowhere. I can’t even watch a regular movie with my family without it being some sex scene which makes it awkward af.
And I go on tik tok or IG and now it’s full of young teens and people wearing full BDSM gear. Like I get people will do what they want behind closed doors but if I had children and they were engaging in BDSM themed outfits, I would absolutely fucking flip.
It’s become a trend. And normalized.
It was better when things weren’t so open, it added to the mystery I guess.
Well, I could be biased, I’ve been asexual for a couple of years now bc I legit gotten so annoyed by everything.
But irl it’s even worst. Some people sounds like bots irl and only talk about it constantly.
The extremes have now become normal. And that’s kind of terrifying in a way.
Edit: Well what I mean is that not everyone appreciates salacious talk, especially when it’s unsolicited. It’s more than just on the internet but just in general.
On a personal level, I’ve been at the workplace and been around employees that made sexual comments about me in person. There’s boundaries, and professional boundaries you do not cross.
consent is the biggest factor in this.
Just because you’re open with sex doesn’t mean everyone else needs to be subjected to it. We’re dealing with actual people, not mindless machines focused only on based desires.
Make sure the people you are talking are comfortable before you creep them out.
I tried to reply as much as I can but yeah. There’s a lot to this onion of a topic
