The Chiefs’ success is because Andy Reid runs the NFL’s most difficult training camp
Every time the Chiefs win a close playoff game, I’m reminded of the Athletic’s article on Andy Reid’s “rigorous, old-style” training camp. Basically, they run like 200 plays a day, and practice faster than the games ever are. They also practice very long drives so that they are ready when the game is on the line
Ik that practice and preparation sounds generic but think about all the postseason games the chiefs have won since 2019 and the way they won. The idea is simple and def why it’s effective.
