Do you find your chronically unemployed friends/family don't get the stress of having a job?

P.S. this isn't directed at anyone whose been made redundant this year, it's more EDIT: folks who are not looking for work and prefer to live in unemployment and have done so for years.

I'm asking because I'm working in a career role and studying, and some of them have never had a job let alone a career and always seem to be going on about how easy their lives are and how much my stress is too much. Even to the point of asking if I'm ok.

They're asking me for money and things or using my tv, comfy couches and other relaxation setups too.

Do you think it's possible to maintain a healthy friendship/relationship with them, are they values just different? For some reason they can't correlate me working with having money or that work takes energy and there's so much of them on the holidays I'm wondering if it's just me whose really taking on too much.
