Air NZ and ID checks

I remember a post a few weeks back where we were discussing domestic flights and ID requirements. On a flight from Christchurch to Welly atm, after we boarded they announced they would be doing random ID checks to make sure your ID and boarding pass name match.

First time I’ve ever seen anything like this and I fly regularly haha. Interesting!
