Switching from Asus RT-AC87U to Google Nest

I've been using Asus RT-AC87U with NBN for the last 5 years. The only problem is that it doesn't cover the entire house. I switched the NBN modem into bridge mode and enabled DHCP on the router. Everything worked perfectly.

Now I got Google Nest WiFi.

Can I keep using NBN modem in bridge mode? Google Nest doesn't seem to be able to connect to NBN in this configuration. Do I need to switch the modem back into router mode?
