Strengthening lower back without deadlifts.

Long story short. I’m 32, I’ve done 9 shows. Hurt my back bad in 2018. Severe lumbar strain. Hasn’t been the same since. Stopped all deadlifts and squats. Did hack squats all my last prep and reinjured it. Now, I just won’t risk it. Not asking injury advice I’m asking for exercise subs

What could I do to strengthen the lower back aside from those. Planks? Hyper extensions ?
