Names you associate with strong, historical women?
I’m a big women’s history fan. My favorite podcast is the History Chicks. I’m due with a girl in a few months and I thought it might be fun to give her a name that I associate with women’s history. I’d like a classic but unique name, so preferably not something like Elizabeth (too common), Eleanor (too popular right now), etc. I’ve been considering names like Victoria, Anastasia, Aurelia, Francesca, Georgiana and Magdalena. My husband said no to Zelda. We love Charlotte but it’s on the top 10 girls names in the US currently, so that’s out. Help me come up with some other good options please!
My son has a unique name from literature so I’d be open to something like that too. Was considering Annabel Lee or Raven because I’m from Maryland and love Edgar Allan Poe. 🐦⬛
