What are some songs that made it onto Original Cast albums, but were cut early in the run of a show?

My friend and I were talking about "Crossing a Bridge" from Anastasia (and someone being disappointed to discover it wasn't included in the touring production). As I primarily consume musicals through cast albums, I feel like I remember finding out of some other examples of this: songs I love and associate with a show being completely unfamiliar to someone who actually saw the show.

But the only other instance I could specifically recall was Chess, whose book and song selection seems to be thrown in a blender between each subsequent production. Not quite the same.
