Se7en is overrated

The movies atmosphere was great and the gruesomeness was truly a highlight. Where it lost me was the subpar acting. The plot point was executed weekly. The main antagonist was a huge let down and was just your Average run of the mill nihilistic Killer with little to no appeal.

The ending was alright it was very predictable which isn’t a bad thing but could’ve used more umf. After watching such a great movie (Shawshank’s redemption) I had my expectations up to high can anyone recommend me any other movies similar to Se7en.
