Genuinely curious but why in most movies does the final battle always take place at night?

Like i said it's not for all movies, but some movies, and not not necessarily just super hero movies, but any movie, i noticed that the final battles of the movie tend to take place between a sunset or night or sometimes even from sunset into night. Now im not complaining because to me atleast, a climactic final confrontation at night just gives it this great atmosphere. Im just actually curious as to why it's mostly in night.
