How does Wes Anderson afford his casts?

The guy consistently has the most insane lineups in his movies. Like regularly 15+ household names. I realise some may take decent pay cuts because they like the dude so much, but that stacked of a cast has to add up to a damn sizeable amount of budget regardless. Is it just that his movies tend to not have the biggest set or production needs with most of them seemingly prioritizing the dialogue and the like? I'll be honest I've done no research whatsoever and just figured I'd start some discourse on the matter regardless lol.
