Dick Tracy is just a beautifully crafted film from top to bottom.

It’s free on YouTube and decided to throw it on. Hadn’t seen it in forever. And good lord does this flick still hold up. And everyone and their mom’s is in it. Famous af people with two lines. Literally every aspect of filmmaking is turned to 11. Warren Beaty does NOT get his proper flowers. This is a masterpiece. No question. But it’s never spoken about with the other masterpieces. Hell, it’s never spoken about at all. Everything about this world works. The film’s almost futuristic in its depiction of the past. I isn’t mention anything specific because there’s so much. But I’m deliriously entertained for a Sunday afternoon.
