Tonight, I’m the biggest loser
Well after a year of riding I crashed. Coming off the highway at night with not too good visibility and bam right into a guard rail on an aggressive turn on the off ramp. Learned my lesson to not take fashion over gear safety as I chose not to wear my gloves, armored pants and jacket simply because I wanted to look good for emo karaoke night at the bar. I was wearing my boots and helmet though which was a good thing as I watched through the visor my head scrape down the guard rail for a good 2 to 3 seconds. Felt like a decade though. Anyways bike is okay sorta. Both rims bent and the exhaust housing is missing a chunk. Probably should get it professionally looked at. Also RIP to my 2 month old AGV helmet and cardo.
Learn from me boys, wear your fucking gear. Just because you’ve been a very safe rider in a year doesn’t mean you can’t make a mistake.
