Why didn't anyone tell me???

I've been scooping this page for a couple months. Took my MSF class a month ago, got my endorsement.

Shopped around, saw a few bikes. Finally settled on a V-Strom 650 and couldn't be happier.

Not one SINGLE time during this whole experience did you guys mention the greatest feeling on the earth. That feeling is riding solo for one of the first few times and passing a group of bikers and having Every. Single. One. Drop the "Ride Safe" hand gesture. Jesus fucking Christ I have never felt more ALIVE and RESPECTED all at once. I don't know if the feeling goes away over time but it was the ultimate high.
