Do the 1/2/10-trip tickets act like tokens or like presto in Toronto?

In Toronto, 1-trip payment allows you to go wherever you want within a span of 2 hours. You can go to 10 different places from different directions and still only charged once. Does it work like that for Montreal too or is it like a token?
