Uber drivers lately…

Anyone else experiencing uber drivers not moving after accepting the ride? First time it happened, I cancelled the ride after seeing the car not move. She accepted my ride AGAIN. When i got in the car, the lady said “sorry the previous rider was having trouble getting their child’s car seat out of the car” i brushed it off. I think they were supposedly 2 min away and it took 10 min for them to arrive. She ignored my messages the whole time.

Second time, this lady was “1 min away” and also took 10 min!! She was ignoring my texts and leaving me on read. When she arrived, I asked “what happened? The car wasn’t moving” she said “oh i was helping someone get out. It was an old lady:)” yeah sure… I could see the car moving a BIT while she was ignoring me. Even if it’s true, isn’t it common decency to let the rider know before hand?

On saturday, a lady accepted my ride, again not moving and ignoring my call and messages. I cancelled the ride, they didn’t charge me. Ordered another one, and the SAME lady accepted the ride. What even is the point of accepting one more time if I already know what you’re doing?

I know they want me to cancel so that I’ll have to pay a fee and they get money. Both times I cancelled, I clicked the “driver asked me to cancel” (Even though they didn’t) option and I think that’s why I wasn’t charged. Why does this keep happening????? I’m in the Lasalle area. For those who will say “just stop ubering!” The first incident was months ago, however I had to uber twice this past week and it happened both times. All different drivers.
