Seeking general advice for adopted Sr MinPin, + very good girl, Parker
Happy New Year, All! I doubled the size of my household on this first day of the year by adopting a little senior minpin girl. They think Parker’s around 10 years old, and so far she’s pretty spry and nimble, but also loves to just lay on the lap for hours.
Would love to hear any advice folks who’ve had minpins in their senior years might have!
Any thoughts on keeping healthy? Preferences for food? Thoughts on general medical / vet stuff? Behavioral things to keep in mind? Favorite toys? Ty in advance! 🙏
📝 you might notice her coat is super thin rn— the shelter is not sure on reasoning for this, so I’ll be asking at the vet. I’m okay with this so long as it’s not bothering her and being caused by something nefarious. But if you’ve experienced anything like this with one of yours and found out the reasoning, would love to hear about it.
