Anyone else turning their stocks liquid?

Reason I think it applies to this subreddit is that we were at our prime earning years when the 2008 recession hit.

Not trying to get into politics, but it seems like we are headed for another big recession and potential crashes.

I can’t afford for my stocks to be wiped out since I will need some source of additional funds if everything goes to shit.

Anyone else the same?

Edit: So far it seems like you are all in a pretty financially secure place. I am genuinely happy for you that you can still take risks. I looked at how people lived in 1929 and ain’t risking that for my kids.

Now excuse me while I go stock up at BJs.

Edit: Back, only other person there with a full cart was a fellow black person. Immediately felt validated lol.
