Best string Gauge for Drop C when soloing?

i like to solo and bend the higher strings, so my question is what is best for this in your opinion? I think tighter is fine for chugs, but will i break strings if they are 11s trying to bend the high d ? Everything I read says 11- 50something for drop C but just wanted to check in on soloing and bending if that makes sense.
