Are there any medical specialties dying?

Times change, medicine progresses (even seasons change as Anastasia sung). But do you think that it is possible some specialties to become obsolete? I also understand that different countries can have different specialties and subspecialties.

In my country (Greece) for an unknown reason pathology and cytology are two different specialties. So I do believe that these two will merge.

I also think that nuclear medicine will have a hard time. CTPA has almost replaced V/Q Scan for pulmonary embolism and very few (if any?) patient samples need radioactivity-based assays for quantification. Of course PET Scan is super important but is it enough to keep it a distinct specialty? I think it would be reasonable to become part of radiology.
