What's a really popular pencil that nonetheless does absolutely nothing for you?

For me, this has to be the Pentel Graphgear. I have no doubt it's a great pencil, and many people really love it...but i can't help strongly disliking its design. The weird 'lip' below the knurling makes the tip look like the rubber teat on a baby's bottle, and sweet baby jesus that clip looks awful.

Maybe i'm alone?
