We don’t need anti-heal characters before attacking the ROOT of the support problem plaguing this game.

Invincible support ults are currently a bandaid solution to a deeper problem, the ‘win now’ button DPS ults with low skill floors and disproportionately high reward.

Both support ults and DPS ults should be changed in hand with each other. Adjusting one but not the other would only result in a larger imbalance between what is and isn’t viable, and an even more one-dimensional meta. But introducing anti-heal without fundamentally attacking the root cause of comp imbalance would be a misstep. I don’t want anti-heal to be another layer of bandaid on top of an already existing bandaid.

I personally wanna play a balanced game where multiple comps are viable and formed organically across matches. A game where one team diagnoses the other and switches accordingly, with anti-heal being one of various “answers”, and not a mandatory pick in every high level comp.

Anti-heal should provide variety to Marvel Rivals, nothing more. Specific anti-heal heroes should counter supports; but “anti-heal”, The Role, should not be a balancing mechanism for an unbalanced game.
