Help/suggestions

This place is so bare I’m in desperate need of some sort of thing to make it more lively lol. I want to start off with curtains for the living room and bedroom, what color would you guys recommend.

If it helps I have dark brown cabinets in the kitchen. In the bedroom my bed frame is the same color as the couch. The tv stand will be replaced soon so I would love suggestions on colors for that as well.
