Dual monitors

Hi everyone, I work from home and I've been switching between my m1 pro macbook 16 inch connected to studio display, as well as my gaming pc for working on. I've swapped setups at least 4/5 times over the last few months deciding what I prefer and more efficient on. I love Mac's UI, but was more efficient on PC. I think the reason for it was 2 monitors for the pc, vs the single studio display for mac.

So, I've decided to go for using mac full time, with dual displays. In terms of setting up dual displays for m1 pro macbook 16, am I right in saying I can just use the thunderbolt cable for the studio display and then a hdmi cable in my second monitor? The second monitor is a 4k dell. Depending on how it goes with using this setup for a couple of months, I'll probably upgrade the dell to a second studio.

Reason for asking before trying, somehow lost the thunderbolt cable that came with the studio so ordered a new one!
