Thoughts on Byredo Throw?

I've bought a few Byredo in the past and had the same reaction that I did to carriere Freres. Absolutely stunning scents, vessel is sleek and chic, but the throws did not do it for me. At all. Cold throw a 1 to my nose (scale of 10) and hot throw a 4 on a good day. Is this a universal reaction or did I get a bunch of old stock? Most of them I bought directly from their site but a couple were from Saks. I've had BIBLIOTHEQUE, Tree House, Loose Lips, Altar, and Woods. Maybe I'm choosing the wrong scents? I really want to try Peyote Poem but maybe I should dispense with the blind buys with this brand. 🙏🏼
