What is different about Foundation compared to other recent sets

So I'm a returning player after more than a decade away. I started back with thunder Junction and did all right with that set and I've been a middling performer for every set since then. Foundation on the other hand just seems to click for me. I have a positive record in every draft that I do and multiple multiple trophies. Maybe it's just a rust falling off and I'm improving as a player but I feel like there's something fundamentally different with Foundation when compared to other recent standard sets that I'm not picking up on. I wonder if anyone has any thoughts on this
