Primal Hunter and Defiance of the Fall.

Hey everyone! I was reading a few posts and I've come to the conclusion that these two series are similar. My conundrum is now which series to read 1st. What are the differences between these two series? Both the good and the bad.

I'm looking for something with a system, which I believe both have, but which series has a more robust system.
