Concerns about using Ventoy to create Linux Distro bootable USB
I just used Ventoy to add linux mint, fedora and ubuntu to a new USB and when it went through the boot process at the start to try it out without installing it and it went through like a whole lot of data on the screen, seemed like BIOS or boot stuff. I couldn't read it all because it was going so fast.
Sorry Im not a tech expert so I dont know how to explain, but it really looked dogy AF. Is that normal?
Should I be concerned? I didn't install it to any drive only ran it from the USB. Should I scan/check my PC, what would you guys recommend?
I am worried it could have changed firmware or BIOS settings, is that possible?
I also didn't realize that this software seems to have some Chinese affiliation but is also open source?
