Realistically, how do you begin learning to draw with out getting burnt out?

I’m a big writer, I love thinking up stories and characters etc. I would really like to make my own webtoon someday the issue is I just don’t know how to draw. I used to be into it ages 6-13 so I have some experience, but nowhere near enough to take on a big project like a webtoon. Course I would try and connect with artists who may be interested in working with me, but honestly I would prefer having full control over the project and working alone. I figure this will take me a while, any tips for learning art without wearing myself out and losing motivation quickly?
