How much time do HIGH elo players spend on the game?

I see a lot of streamers say that most people in high ELO do this as a job otherwise they would have no time to reach these peaks, so I was curious of how much time must you dedicate to league to reach these ELO's ie. diamond, masters, GM, Chall 1000 LP+ and also maintain it?
