To Those Attending Tonight's Game, Please Read

Hey guys. You're super rich! Congrats. Please cheer tonight. Like, really gun it. Don't wait for a goal to hop on a cheer bandwagon. CHEER. Get chants going. Chirp Swayman every chance you get. Flip out and clap and shout when the Buds clear the zone, or run a successful PK, or even just complete a pass for God's sake.

I understand the age old argument that you're all snake-bitten. That the Leafs have given you nothing to cheer for, so why cheer at all? But this is a self-fulfilling prophecy, a double-edged knife, and those who are truly entitled are the curmudgeonly fans who boo their team off the ice.

If you're so bummed about paying for a bad outcome, then stop buying the tickets so that real fans can afford em. And in the meantime, GET LOUD tonight. Remind the boys that there are people out there that love them. There are so freakin' many of us watching from home who will never be able to put our asses in a seat in the barn. And WE love them. So close your deals, impress your clients, whatever you gotta do. But while you're at it, please serve as good lil proxies for the fans who care. Cheer.
