Favorite/most scrobbled artist with more than 100k listeners but less than 250k listeners

Thought this would be a good/interesting way to recommend artists who aren't completely unknown, but also aren't household names. Feel free to give a few sentences about the artist (genres/what you like about them/context of who they are/etc.)

My favorite/most scrobbled artist with more than 100k listeners but less than 250k listeners is The Go-Betweens. They're a super influential Australian jangle pop band and I was actually surprised to see that they didn't have more listeners, to be honest. Lots of Australian indie artists have cited them as an influence (Courtney Barnett, for one). They have five bolded albums on RateYourMusic if anyone here uses it. :)
