Hello detectives

So I’m currently doing the Gas man case on the arson desk and I’m Trying to platinum the game and I have 2 questions

1.I have 5 stars on all the cases I’ve done so far except White shoe Slaying, drivers seat and the naked city. If I redo these cases after I’m done with arson, can I still get the trophy for getting 5 stars on all the cases?

2.can you find and collect the newspapers during free roam or are they just available during the story mode?
