Trying to find a source for platelets

I'm planning some in vitro experiments that will need to use platelets (preferably human platelets), but i'm having trouble finding a source for obtaining platelets. Due to budgets, I was hoping that I could have my own blood drawn and isolate those platelets, but i'm not having any luck with finding a place that will draw blood for research use. Previously, students in a different lab had blood drawn at our university health center for research use, but we have new staff there that would prefer not to do this (not sure if its due to legal/regulatory issues or if they just don't want to go through the hassle). Has anyone here used human platelets before and if so, where did you get them from?
