What does BEAT Ver. mean?

Hello there! I'm looking for a gift for my 14 year old cousin who loves Aespa. I googled that WHIPLASH is their latest album, which I assume she doesn't have yet and I found a "WHIPLASH BEAT Ver. 5th Mini Album" online but I don't know what BEAT Ver. means? Are the songs in the album just beats? No vocals or anything? 😅

I can't find answers on google so I'm here, hope you all understand Hahahaha!
