Yarn recommendations for bald folks

Hello! What fibers are best for knitting for bald people? I want to make a hat for a friend and I know she’d also appreciate a hat that would last a long time, so I’m looking for a fiber that is both durable and comfortable against your skin. Not sure if this exists but appreciate people’s input!
