I might have an issue with Florian

PLAYING ON XBOX SERIES X ON VERSION 1.9.2

Doing Lady Stephanie's quest and I get to Sasau to speak to the engraver and I see a chest on the ground floor so I attempt to open it but Florian see's me and runs away shouting thief so I tackle him and I let him run off after but I didn't hit him before I let him go. Later I return to the engraver and see Florian and he immediately runs off shouting thief and its made me worried I'm soft locked for a later main quest.
