Can I turn off Auto Braking?

This happened to me once before, but this time it genuinely annoyed me. I tried changing lanes to pass a slow bus in front of me, and once I tried, it thought I was gonna hit the bus and it slammed on the brakes. I wasn’t even that close to it nor did I accelerate that hard, only got up to like 2.5k rpm. Is there anyway i can turn that off? Genuinely annoying especially coming from a car that had absolutely 0 assists like that.
