New Minivan? sienna vs carnival

Looking for a new minivan for ~$52k. Can't decide between sienna or carnival. We're buying either new 2025 or 2026. Highest-trim preferred.

Reliability: The main concern is we're worried about the Kia's reliability. We only drive ~10k mi./yr. So probably only driving this car for 12-15 years before we get bored and trade it in (just being honest). That said, is reliability really a big enough factor to justify the Sienna? We're not driving this car 150k+ miles, so it doesn't matter to us that Toyota's can double that. Consumer Reports put the Carnival above the Sienna this year, but I know it's too early to tell.

Carnival: The carnival grabbed our attention due to the overall appearance inside and out. Looks much nicer than the competition and feels like the perfect minivan, aside from the lack of reliability from kia. It also has great value.

Sienna: The Sienna test drive showed a decent driving experience. Love the spacious interior. Although, the Sienna is so expensive, we would need to get a lower trim just to justify it.

Extra background: 2nd kid on the way, and have a 50lb. Lab. The dog needs access to the back row, so we're going captain's chairs for the middle aisle (carnival seems to have the tightest spacing). Also considering bench seat and removing the middle seat, but worried about lack of arm rests. Not sure if anyone is getting a remodel for 2026, but we can wait.

tl;dr: Title. Buying new. Only owning the car from 0 to 150k miles. Worried about the Kia's reliability. Thanks!
