Where to donate old clothes?

I have sorted through a bunch of clothes and don't know where I can drop them off. There used to be donations bins everywhere that you could just drop your things off. I suspect they are gone because people were making a mess around them by dropping things that shouldn't be dropped there or maybe no one can pick them up. Either way I have a bunch of items that are just sitting around my house. Where can I take these clothes. Throwing them away feels wasteful. I'm Lees Summit area.
