My car was egged while driving on December 20, 2024

I was driving southbound on Jeffrey near the intersection of Alton at around 5:15pm on December 20, 2024 at about 5:15pm. Someone threw an egg (and possibly something else) at my car. It's a pretty scary thing when you're driving and have a "splat" like this block your vision. I had to turn on my wipers which cleared most of my windshield but distributed the egg across more of the surface of my car. I say "and possibly something else" because I noticed that a little bit of the paint on my hood was taken off. I'm pretty miffed about it, mostly because there's likely no way to catch the people who did this. I guess this can happeb anywhere but it's sad to see it in your own city and to your own car.
