UK Citizen Invited - Advice looking for tips etc

Hi all, I very excitingly got an invite to apply today. I was expecting to get invited in about a year. I work in the IT field.

Just asking for general advice on the following:

• Toronto vs Ottawa? (I'm leaning toward Toronto)
• How is transport in Toronto & Ottawa, did anybody secure a vehicle?
• What would I not think of getting that I would surprisingly need?
• Good health insurance to get?
• Good places to live in Toronto's central areas? Looking at 1-bed apartments. Cost isn't a huge barrier.
• How was the process of enquiring about and securing a place to live (specifically apartments)?
• Have/are employers put off by IEC people? For example am I less likely to secure a Cyber Sec job due to having a time cap on my stay? I also have the intention of applying for PR, would this be worth speaking about to employers?
• Are there plenty of remote/hybrid opportunities? These are very different so would like to hear the answer to both.
• What's the culture like for a Brit living in Canada? Do Canadians like us Brits and how are we viewed professionally?

This is an awful brain dump before I hit the sack but wanted to put this out there.
